Righteousness

SUNDAY MEDITATION:
We are not in this world to see how important, rich, or powerful we can be. We are here to see how much difference we can make in the lives of others. It is not what we possess or what we amass that gives us real worth. It is the good that we pass on to others that gives us peace and joy in life. Doing good and being good is never old-fashioned. Do what is right. Not having it leads to catastrophic results. The principle applies to individuals, communities, and even countries. Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people. (Proverbs 14:34)
