Learning Opportunities

This is a very different Christmas season for my family and me. Things happened that we did not understand. But we are learning lessons.
It is obvious that God does not show up the whole plan with dates of events up front. It is because He is interested in our personal growth, so He provides opportunities. Not much faith is required when we already know the outcome in advance. And so by faith we trust and then we learn. This is why I love the song that carries the lyrics: “If you cannot see God’s hand, you can trust God’s heart.”
