Every happening in life has its use and purpose. We can use disappointment as a material for patience; success as a material for thankfulness; suspense as a material for perseverance; danger as a material for courage; reproach as a material for long-suffering; praise as a material for humility; pleasure as material for temperance; & pain as material for endurance.
