Do not be a perfectionist. Perfectionists are often times unhappy and worst, with their unrealistic standards they make other people miserable too. Choose excellence instead. It is a process of continued progress and improvement. The movie “Back to the Future” actor Michael J. Fox says this beautifully: “I am careful not to confuse excellence with perfection. Excellence I can reach for. Perfection is God’s business.” And he is right.
