When we are advised to reflect on this Lenten season, we need to first ask the question “to reflect on what or on whom?”
Here are some thoughts that would help in our reflection:
* The crowd on Palm Sunday that shouted “Hosanna” may also be the crowd that shouted “Crucify Him” on Thursday Do not work for man’s approval. Desire only to delight an audience of One!
* All heaven is interested in the cross of Christ, all hell terribly afraid of it, while men are the only beings who more or less ignore its meaning. Oswald Chambers
