Respect Not Attention

Here’s what I said addressing a lovely group of college girls this morning: “Girls get all the attention from boys. But only ladies get respect from men.” What a world of difference.
Do not crave for attention. Be decent, be well mannered, be gracious with your speech (both spoken and “posted”). And respect can be earned.
