Play The Long Game

When children or young people get used to instant gratification; they are robbed of the ability to play the long game. Whatever it is that gives them instant access or instant gratification would not allow them to be able to imagine and see a further future. So they get what they want now! But are unable to plan or suppress their pleasure then get a better reward. What is needed is to be disciplined for it teaches us to delay gratification.
