Paid my Debt

LENT REFLECTIONS:
Today I remember a simple song from Sunday School that still resonates with me: He paid the debt he did not own; I own the debt I could not pay. I needed someone to wash my sins away
And now I sing a brand new song, “Amazing Grace” Christ Jesus paid the debt I could never pay.
By the cross, we, too, are crucified with Christ, but alive in Christ. We are no more rebels but servants; no more servants but sons! Frederick Farrar
