Optimism and Pessimism

Just because someone is pessimistic does not mean he or she is smart. And just because someone is optimistic does not mean that the person is dumb. What we need is to face reality and confirm our disposition with facts. But made to choose, I would rather be an optimist even if I make a mistake for two reasons:
1. I would have had more fun making a mistake.
2. I manage to look and see opportunities.
