Learning Today

February 16, 2026

Before, learning worked like choosing one road and staying on it. You studied one subject, such as engineering, accounting, or teaching, and focused on it for many years. That is called disciplinary learning. It made sense in the past because jobs were stable and problems were simpler. Today, learning works more like a road network. Different subjects are connected. Technology affects business. Psychology affects marketing. Data affects almost every job. This is called interdisciplinary learning. Instead of knowing just one subject, people need to understand how ideas from different fields work together. In simple terms, before, success meant knowing one thing very well. Now, success means knowing one thing well and understanding how it connects to others. You and I have to become perpetual students, learning things all the time. #PassionPurposeProductivity
