Lead Not Just Manage

Fred Smith says this beautifully: “A manager is not a person who can do the work better than his men; he is who can get his men to do the work better.” But better still, the manager should learn to become a leader and lead, not just manage. Tomorrow I travel to Davao early in the morning to give a talk on leadership in the afternoon, come back home to have dinner with The Ilocana in the evening. Need to utilise and manage time carefully.
