Failing Grades

Here’s a funny story: The parents were very disappointed in the grades that their son brought home. “The only consolation I can find in these awful grades,” lamented the father, “is that I know he never cheated during his exams.” 🙂
I remember one of my kids bringing home a failing grade and was crying. I told her, “Listen sweetheart, just because you failed does not mean I love you less…” I know you will try harder and you will be better.” And she did. She never forget that experience now that she’s an adult.
