Education not Entertainment

Here is a parenting tip: Do not think entertain – think equip. The Ilocana (my wife) is a frugal person but she is willing to spend as long as the object of the expenditures is for education and learning. She did this with me when I was starting out with my speaking and training career. Made sacrifices but would be generous with spending money on books and audio materials. Today she does the same with all of our kids. And now we see the results. Yes, she would spend on education but NOT much on entertainment. #PassionPurposeProductivity
