Don’t Be Late

April 7, 2025

On keeping appointments, writer Jacob Falkovich shares a helpful tip on handling tardiness gracefully: “If you think you’re running 10 minutes late, say you’ll be 15 minutes late. This gives the other person one small disappointment followed by a pleasant surprise. Most people do the opposite—they claim they’re 5 minutes late when it’s actually 10, annoying the other person and appearing irresponsible.” My clients know I always arrive early. I’d rather wait than make someone wait for me. Punctuality reflects professionalism. #PassionPurposeProductivity
