Discipline Leads to Freedom

Discipline leads to freedom. For example, we use discipline in a preventive way. We do not wait until a child plays in traffic to assert some effort to keep him in the yard. A fence takes away a child’s freedom but it does so in order to protect that child. He or she may resent and despise the fence but it is still an act of love and protection.
