Conversation Not Argument

Some people treat every conversation like a debate they must win. It’s as if they’re in a verbal version of road rage with horns blaring, egos flaring. It’s exhausting and annoying. I love conversations with wise, mature, and truthful people, especially those moments when they prove me wrong. That’s when real learning happens. An argument ends with one winner. A meaningful conversation ends with two.
