Being Authentic

In the Leadership Conference here in Atlanta, I heard Burberry president Angela Ahrendts giving a long sigh, hesitating and then say, “I can’t understand why people cannot be authentic? I can never forget where I came from.”
This is a clue. People who are not authentic and real refuse to acknowledge where they came from. They live a life of pretension. That can be very stressful and destructive.
