Be Critical not Cynical

February 3, 2024

By being cynical some think they look and sound smarter. Psychologist Daniel Pink says they are not. There is a difference between being cynical and being critical. Being critical involves evaluating ideas, actions, or situations with a thoughtful and objective perspective aimed at constructive assessment. Being cynical is adopting a negative, distrustful attitude, often dismissing ideas or actions without thorough examination. Cynicism is a tool of the lazy thinker. #PassionPurposeProductivity
