Be Trustworthy

The late Charlie Munger advises on how to live a miserable life. He says: “Be unreliable. Do not faithfully do what you have engaged to do. If you like being distrusted and excluded from the best human contribution and company, this prescription is for you.” (paraphrased) This one habit you will counterbalance the combined effect of all your virtues, however great. And you can be assured that opportunities will be beyond your grasp, and the successful life you long for will always be beyond your reach.
