Be Hopeful

February 20, 2026

Elon Musk said, “It’s better to be an optimist and wrong than a pessimist and right.” I’ve noticed this pattern among people who do well in business, careers, professions, and crafts. They are hopeful. Not reckless. Not naive. Many are cautious. But they never treat failure or mistakes as signals to quit. They treat them as feedback. I’d rather be an optimist who makes a few mistakes than a pessimist who never starts. At least I’d enjoy the journey. 😊
When you’re cynical, you only see walls. When you’re hopeful, you see doors opening. The pessimist and the quit-too-soon crowd will be deprived of this privilege. #PassionPurposeProductivity
