Will Make it Up

Most people don’t really fear failure—they fear what others will say if they fail. Last night, acid reflux took my voice before a keynote. I showed up, tried, and could not. I spoke for three minutes, then stepped down. My hosts—Khevin, Mary, and Katherine—were kind. The audience was gracious and forgiving. Don’t fear opinions. Show up, do what’s right, and give your best. That’s enough. I’ll make it up after I recover. Lesson learned. #PassionPurposeProductivity
