GRIT?

August 11, 2026

Not Every Kind of Persistence Is Admirable. (Many speakers call this “Grit.”) If you are moving in the right direction, difficulties are not necessarily signs that you should quit. Sometimes they are simply the tuition and fees of growth. But if you discover that you are heading in the wrong direction, stubbornness is not courage. Persistence without wisdom can become expensive. Sometimes the wisest move is to stop, reassess, and change course. On the right road, keep going. On the wrong road, have the humility to turn around. There is no prize for arriving quickly at the wrong destination. #PassionPurposeProductivity
