Getting REady?

We said we’d “get ready” before marriage; so we spent nine years “preparing.” Then we got married. Forty-five years later, yesterday, with the Ilocana in marriage plus the nine years of “preparation,” we laugh now at how long we tried to “prepare.” The lesson is clear: you’re never fully ready; you start. Today, God has blessed us with kids and grandkids. However, this is certainly God’s plan and timing for us, and in Him we trust.
