Familiarity vs. Mastery

Knowing about something and truly knowing something are two very different things. One sounds impressive at dinner, in short reels, quick clips, and polished stories. The other holds up when the pressure is on. Surface knowledge gets you into the conversation. Real knowledge keeps you in it. Do not confuse familiarity with mastery.
