SUNDAY MEDITATION
Wonder why riches, fame, and every shiny new object never quite satisfy? The search never ends, it just moves to the next thing. St. Augustine wrestled with this and after chasing pleasure and applause with everything he had. His conclusion: The heart is restless until it finds its rest in God. Riches. Fame. Power. If the soul is anchored to any of it, it will never stop moving. Jesus offers an invitation to stop: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28) Not once you’ve fixed yourself. Come as you are: tired, chasing, unsatisfied and receive what the chasing never could. Christ Himself. #PassionPurposeProductivity
