If you shoot high, aim for higher goals, you succeed even if you fail. But if you aim low, trying to play safe, and even if you hit your goals, you still fail. Because you have not stretched yourself and tapped into how much better you can do. So the whole exercise was just a waste of time and energy. This is the problem of being “compliant.” Meeting the barest minimum.
