Pastor Chad Williams of Union Church of Manila introduced a word I was not familiar with. He described Joseph, the Prince of Egypt, as a man of PROBITY. PROBITY means complete honesty, integrity, and moral uprightness. It describes a person who is ethically straight, trustworthy, and guided by strong principles. How I wish our leaders would not only love our country, but also prove themselves to be men and women of probity. Would that not be our wish and prayer as well? But more importantly, this should not only be what we hope for in our leaders. It should be our personal commitment too: to be people of probity ourselves. #PassionPurposeProductivity
