No Time to Celebrate

It must have been more than 322 people who attended the seminar Developing The Millionaire’s Mindset. The place was so crowded and everybody said it was very successful. But I did not even have time to celebrate the seminar’s success. Heinz and Amby did a great job organizing the event. They delivered and they are such wonderful people to work with.

I signed some books, shook some hands, posed for some pictures… rushed home to prepare my bags and left for Malaysia the next day preparing to speak to an audience of global representatives of a huge telecoms/technology company. Returned tonight extremely tired but happy.

My thanks to all who attended and now there are plans to do a part 2 and perhaps bring part 1 to the different cities of the country.

Meanwhile, it’s back to my office tomorrow morning, do a little preparation and then rush to another speaking engagement tomorrow afternoon. Which strangely… is extremely tiring for me but so fulfilling! Makes me… well… happy. Perhaps this quote from comedian George Burns explains the reason why:

If you were to go around asking people what would make them happier, you’d get answers like a new car, bigger house, a raise in pay, winning a lottery, a face-lift, more kids, less kids, a new restaurant to go to – probably not one in a hundred would say a chance to help people. And yet that might bring the most happiness of all.

I don’t know Dr. Jonas Salk, but after what he’s done for us with his polio vaccine, if he isn’t happy, he should have his brilliant head examined. Of course, not all of us can do what he did. I know I can’t do what he did. He beat me to it.

The point is, it doesn’t have to be anything that extraordinary. It can be working for a worthy cause, performing a needed service, or just doing something that helps another person.
– GEORGE BURNS, Comedian

Those who wish to sing always find a song. – Swedish Proverb

And I hope you are happy too!
