Just Ask

Comedian Milton Rice took his friends to an expensive restaurant. Couldn’t read the menu, went ahead and ordered. Did not want to look bad. Waiter brought a whole pig laced in pineapple sauce. Rice was shocked, but didn’t miss a beat. Reaching into the pig’s mouth, he took the apple. “Expensive,” he said, “but you know – this is the only way I like apples.”
Don’t pretend. Ask. Or else it will be expensive.
