When kids are young and immature they may not know this. Being young they are self-absorbed and do not know that their actions would cause their parents distress. Many parents keep up an image of strength and positivity but they actually suffer in silence. But love is what makes them endure. The mature and potentially successful young person understands and try to bring good news and encouragement to gladden the hearts of their stressed parents.
