I was moved by the story. When I first saw this article in the Philippine Star, I really cut it and have it inserted in my class record. In such a way that I can read this everyday before I would start my class with my high school students. Lately, I found this article in the PhilStar webpage and have it printed. A printed copy is now posted just outside my classroom. Now, I can also encourage others to be thankful each day… as I am inspired by Francis J. Kong now I want to inspire others….

awwww that was sooo touching…i hope there are still guys out there,,willing to sacrifice something for their loved ones..Just as like the FATHER GOD,,He loves us so much that he gave his only son for us to be saved..Whenever i feel defeated by trials or facing challenegs and tibulations..i also GO BACK on the cross….thats where it humbles me and appreciate how grateful i am to just suffer that small hardship and pain..Just imagine What HE HAS to suffer and experienced for us…Thats how HE loves us..HE’s always waiting for us to go back to him and surrender..Lets all go HOME….have rest and let him lead our way…I LOVE YOU FATHER GOD..
