I have read of of your books, the early birds get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese..(hope its the correct title), thru my wife’s friend whose mother works in the BiR – Bacolod. What a coincidence though, as me and my wife were listening to Sir Chinkee Tan at His Life Ministries – Bacolod, she told me, that she also inspired by their speaker during their seminar in Cebu which was a day before Mr tan went to bacolod to speak at the church, i asked my wife who…she said Francis Kong, so i told her, Mr. Kong is Mr Tans’ mentor and he mentioned you in his book. you guys, rock!!! your books, teaching is really motivating us to do our best in accordance to God’s plan. How I wish, i could someday attend one of your talks. God Bless and thank you for spreading the good news of our Lord.

Bro. Francis, it has been proven before that mankind can live without the usual Christmas traditions for one year. I strongly believe that God allowed Ondoy and Pepeng to wreck havoc on our country, particularly our rice granaries in Luzon, in order that all of us will have “a different Christmas” this time. A Christmas devoid of excessive decorations and outdated carols, but a Christmas according to what Christ Himself wanted: a celebration of praise and thanksgiving that is to be done on a daily basis, not just during Sunday worship services.

Your call for a simplified life in this time of uncertainty is very timely indeed. One can just imagine all of his worries lifted if he will just do away with the excesses in life. Nothing less than Jesus Himself ordered it.

.. your sentences are really captivating and everything in it can be best described as truth. we do have to simplify our lives to live easier plus! we’d use lesser natural resources too and help save mother earth =)

I totally agree with you sir Francis. A Simple but productive life as well as living within our means, will definitely put an end to a very complicated life. You know what sir, if I may share- my husband and I have a very strong faith in God, He may not act favorably in our request, but He’ll make sure that when we receive His blessings we’ll be having a better one. We may lose everything we have in this earth, but our faith in Him will remain as strong as ever. More power to you Mr. Francis, I hope you continue changing people’s lives through your strong faith in God!

Wow, what a timely advice! I just finished checking my credit card billing statement for this month before I came across this article. I actually wondered where I put the P70K that appeared on it. Key word “simplify”.
