You Might Be A Genius

Your ideas get ignored? You speak up, they shut you down. Don’t despair. You might be a genius, and you are just too early. Early often looks like “wrong.” Geniuses rarely get applause upfront. People clap after the proof and then swear they knew you all along. Don’t give up. Find a smarter, more creative way to convey the idea, then let the results speak for themselves. Here is advice from ad genius David Ogilvy: “Tolerate genius. My observation has been that mediocre men recognize genius, resent it, and feel compelled to destroy it.
