The peace of God is not the reward of a trouble free life. It is the gift of His presence in the middle of trouble. Anyone can be calm when life is easy. But when the heart stays steady in the storm, that is grace at work. “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:7.
